Originally from Winnipeg. Dr. Gray-Mitchell graduated from University of Manitoba in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in Animal Sciences and then graduated from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2003. She moved to Grande Prairie in 2004 and has worked at Bear Creek Animal Clinic ever since.

Dr. Gray-Mitchell moved to Eaglesham in 2012 to the family grain farm and has since had 3 lovely children. Also part of her family are Springer Spaniel Simon and Duke and George the super cat.
