Dr. Haas graduated from Goshen College in Goshen, IN, in 1991 with a BA in biology and then from
WCVM in 1995. The veterinary profession suits Dr. Haas’s desire for a “brainy job she could do
outdoors”. Dr. Haas has worked in mixed animal practice since she graduated, and at Bear Creek and
West County Animal Clinics since 1997.  She enjoys the variety of mixed practice including species such
as alpacas, elk, rabbits, and bison and has a love for surgery on all species. Aleeta’s house wouldn’t be
without a Great Dane and Luka is gracious enough to share it with Aleeta, her husband and their 2 cats
Trixie and Ruger. Rugar came to Dr. Haas as a patient through the SPCA. He had an injured eye which
was removed at Bear Creek and during his recovery schmoozed his way into Aleeta’s heart (and home!).
